Depending on the specific needs, a local anesthetic may be sufficient for treating the cartilage area, while a general anesthesia is used for more extensive corrections involving the bone area.

We offer two fundamental techniques for nose surgery: the open technique and the closed technique. The open technique provides a better overview of the surgical field but can result in reduced softness of the nasal tip and quicker tissue tearing. In contrast, the closed technique is much more gentle, preserving the natural flexibility of the nose tip and minimizing tissue damage. Our surgeons, with their extensive experience and specialization in rhinoplasty, have focused on the closed technique for years.

Before and After The Operation

Our internist will conduct a preoperative examination including blood tests, ECG examination, and health analysis. The operation typically takes three to four hours under general anesthesia, and an overnight stay at the clinic is required. You can return to everyday activities within a few days, and after six overnight stays, you can start your journey back from Turkey.

Please note that you'll need to avoid physically demanding activities for at least two weeks after the surgery. After the operation, a cast will be placed on your nose overnight and removed the next day. Special supporting plasters will then support your nose, slowly peeling off after two weeks and removed completely.

Tampons will be inserted into the nose, which will be removed during your stay in Turkey. Scars should not be exposed to sun or solarium radiation for two to three months. Bloodshot eyes and swelling of the face may occur, but can be treated with cold compresses and will usually disappear within two to four weeks.
